We are excited to invite you to the Bandeja Padel Indoor Tournament in Rotterdam at Padelclub Rotterdam, Vlaardingen Indoor on Saturday, February 15! 🎾

📈 Skill Levels:
This time, we’re offering two categories: Beginner (8/9) and Intermediate (6/7).
Not sure about your ranking? We’ll help you determine which level suits you best.
This tournament does not count towards your KNLTB ranking, and you don’t need a ranking or KNLTB membership to participate.
Each match will last 30 minutes. After the 1.5-hour group phase (3 x 30 min), we’ll move on to 30-minute semifinals and finally, a 30-minute final for each category. There are usually also some consolation rounds for those who don’t advance.
🏆 Prizes: The winners of both categories will receive fun prizes!
💰 Cost: €55 per team (€27.50 per person).
👫 Teams: You’ll play all matches with the same partner you sign up with.

Skill Levels Explained
Bandeja Padel – Level: Beginners
This level is similar to KNLTB ranking 8/9 and Playtomic ranking: 1 – 2 +/-.
- You’ve been playing for a few months, about 1-2 times per week, or you’ve been playing irregularly for 1-2 years.
- You have some experience with racket sports and can hit a forehand, backhand, volleys, and serve over the net.
- After serving, you tend to stay in the backcourt. Points are often played from the backcourt.
- During serves, you and your partner alternate sides, similar to tennis.
Bandeja Padel – Level: Intermediate
This level is similar to KNLTB ranking 6/7 and Playtomic ranking: 2.5 – 4 +/-.
- You have significant playing experience and play at least once a week.
- You’re practicing shots like bandeja, vibora, bajada, and chiquita, or are starting to gain control over these.
- You’re comfortable with basic strokes like forehand, backhand, volleys, and serves.
- You’re starting to understand tactics better:
- After serving, you move up to the net immediately and aim to maintain net position.
- During serves, the net player does not switch sides.
- When not serving, you aim to capture the net position with lobs or chiquitas.
- You consider your opponent’s position to decide where to place your shots.
