We’re excited to invite you to the Bandeja Padel Tournament on Friday, 15 May at Ter Eiken Essen in Antwerp, Belgium! All matches will be played indoors.
This tournament is not part of any official ranking (e.g. KNLTB), so you don’t need a ranking or KNLTB membership to participate.
It’s open to everyone — purely for fun and competition!
We offer the following categories:
Beginner (KNLTB 8/9 ≈ P50–100)
Intermediate (KNLTB 6/7 ≈ P200–300)
Advanced (KNLTB 4/5 ≈ P300+)
Players with a level 8 ranking will be placed in separate groups from level 9 players to keep the group stage matches as balanced and fun as possible.
Not sure about your level? No problem — we’ll help place you in the right category.
Each match lasts 30 minutes.
Group stage: 3 matches x 30 min = 1.5 hours
Followed by 30 min semifinals and 30 min finals per category
We usually also run consolation rounds for those who don’t reach the final
€50 per team, which is €25 per person
The winners of each category will receive fun prizes!
You will play all matches with the partner you signed up with.

Comparable to KNLTB level 8/9 or Playtomic 1–2 +/-
You’ve been playing for a few months (1–2 times a week) or irregularly for 1–2 years
Some racket sport experience
You can hit forehands, backhands, volleys, and serve
After serving, you stay at the back of the court
Points are often played from the back
Players switch sides after each service game (like in tennis)
Comparable to KNLTB level 6/7 or Playtomic 2.5–4 +/-
You play regularly (at least once a week)
You’re working on padel-specific shots like bandeja, vibora, bajada, and chiquita
You have good control of basic shots
You start to understand tactics: serve & volley, keeping net position, using lobs/chiquitas to regain net
Net player does not switch sides during serving
You think strategically about shot placement
Comparable to KNLTB level 4/5 or Playtomic 4+
You play at least twice a week and regularly join tournaments and competitions
You master advanced shots: bandeja, vibora, bajada, chiquita
You use smash winners (kick/power), even out of the cage
Strong tactical awareness: building points, changing pace, finishing at the right moment
