We would like to invite you to the Bandeja Padel Tournament in Zevenbergen at Pals on Sunday, June 21st 🎾

This tournament does NOT count towards your KNLTB ranking, and you do NOT need a ranking or KNLTB membership to participate.
📈 Levels
This tournament features three categories:
We aim to split the Beginner category into separate level 8 and level 9 groups during the group stage to ensure more balanced and enjoyable matches. We apply the same principle to the other categories whenever possible.
Please only register for a category if you genuinely belong to that level, as we want to keep the level classifications as accurate as possible. If you’re unsure which category suits you best, let us know and we’ll help determine the right level for you. A detailed explanation of the levels can be found below.
🎾 Tournament Format
You will play all matches within the category you registered for.
Each category will have its own separate semi-finals and final.
💰 Entry Fee
€50 per team (€25 per person)
👫 You will play all matches with the partner you register with.
🏆 Winners of each category will receive a Stryda shirt and shorts set.
Match schedules and additional information will be sent by email one day before the tournament.
Starting and ending times may vary slightly depending on the number of registrations.
Comparable to:
You have been playing padel for a few months, typically once or twice per week, or have played occasionally for one to two years. You may also have some experience in other racket sports.
You are able to hit a forehand, backhand, volley, and serve consistently over the net.
After serving, you generally remain at the back of the court. Most points are played from the baseline. During service games, both you and your opponents switch sides after each point, similar to tennis.

You have gained considerable playing experience and play at least once per week.
You are working on padel-specific shots such as the bandeja, víbora, bajada, and chiquita, and may already have some control over them. You have solid control over the fundamental shots including forehands, backhands, volleys, and serves.
You are beginning to understand the tactical side of the game. After serving, you move directly to the net and try to maintain net position. The net player does not switch sides during service games. When receiving, you try to gain net position through lobs or chiquitas. You also start paying attention to your opponents’ positioning when deciding where to place the ball.
Comparable to:
You have extensive playing experience and play at least twice per week. You regularly participate in tournaments and league competitions.
In addition to the basic shots, you have strong control over padel-specific shots such as the bandeja, víbora, bajada, and chiquita. You are capable of hitting winning shots with kick smashes or power smashes and occasionally hitting the ball out of the court.
You have a strong tactical understanding of the game. You know how to construct points effectively, vary the pace during rallies, and recognize the right moments to finish points and apply pressure to your opponents.
